Hello everyone

Today we have to do some exercises for practice to the final test. It wasn’t boring, I think. I prefer doing these activities. Anyway, it was very easy for me to do the reading pet exercises, because I don’t have problems with read in English. However, I have some problems with the listening, always I have problems with that, because sometimes the people talk very quickly and I can’t discerns some words. I think that problems with listening aren’t so complicated; I think that you can resolve this only with practice. Maybe I have to listen to more songs in English and try to traduce these or maybe I have to see more films without subtitles.

"La Mula"

Hello classmates, now I’m going to write about an amazing place that I have visited. Well I don’t remember a lot of beautiful places that I have visited. But when I was a kid, 11-13 years old (I don’t remember well) I went to a beautiful place located in the south of Chile. This place was called “laguna la mula” and was located in the region of Bio Bio, almost in the Mountain range, very near to Argentina. It was a beautiful place, a lake in the middle of a mountain and full of araucarias. I remember that near from the lake there was a natural spring and you can go with a guide to there and bring mineral water in a bottle.

I went to “laguna la mula” with mi family (and with my dog) and friends of my family who live in Concepcion. We’ve known that family for a long time. They showed us the lake. It was a nice experience because we get on well with them. We camped there for a week, I think, I don’t remember very well.

I liked a lot this place because it was very beautiful. The lake, the araucarias, the sky in the night, all was amazing. I think that if I go to this place now, I’m going to value it more, because when I went to this lake, I was very young, and I don’t remember very well what it was like.

I recommend this place, is beautiful, if you can the opportunity to go, you have to. 

Hello classmates, today I’m going to talk about my favorite song at this moment. I’m not going to lie to you but I don’t know what my favorite song is at this moment. Now I’m thinking and maybe my favorite song could be by one of my favorite artists “Cevladé”, he is a Chilean rapper. 

However I used to listen to this artist, but now I don’t listen to him so much, so for that, I’m going to choose another band called “Moral Distraida”. So, my favorite song at this moment could be “¿Que pasará? This song is new, is from the last EP by this band. I heard this song when I went with my girlfriend, in the youth day, to “Estacion Mapocho”. In this day were “Moral Distraida” “Tiro de Gracia” and “Villa Cariño”. It was a nice day, and I could know this song. I like a lot this song, I don’t know very well why, maybe can be because the voice of the singer in this song sounds great and the lyric of this song is good, isn’t the great thing, but is good.

Moral Distraida is a cumbia’s band, but this song doesn’t sounds like cumbia, is very slow, I couldn’t say you what kind of music is this song, because I don’t know.

Courage the Cowardly Dog

Hello classmates, today I’m going to talk about a TV programme that I enjoyed when I was a child. When I was a child I loved a lot of programmes, so it’s a little difficult choice only one. For example, I loved a TV programme called “Power Rangers: Wild Force”. I hated the others programmes of Power Rangers, but, the “wild force”, I loved it. I don’t know why. Maybe because the colors of the ball that contained the animal were so beautiful, and I liked it also, because the animals that appeared were great.

But I’m not going to talk about Power rangers; I’m going to talk about Courage the Cowardly Dog. It was a great TV programme. It is about a dog that was very fearful, and he lived with two old people. The old woman was very loving with Courage, but the old man hated Courage. All time the old man said “stupid dog”. They lived in a desert, alone. Courage always had to save to Muriel (old woman) and Justo (the old man). Some chapters were too creepy, because sometimes appeared characters very strange, and the music was horrific. I remember a chapter that appeared a killer duck; he was very strange and smarter. This chapter was very scary.

Hello classmates

Today I’m going to talk about a good friend of mine. I think he’s one of my best friend. His name is Benjamín. I met him in first grade of the school and I started to talk with him because he helped me in math. When we met us, we were in a school called “Madre de Jesús”, but I changed school in second grade. When I told him that, he talked with her mom and he changed school too. So, we were going to the same school from second grade until we left the high school. A lot of time. I know him almost 13 years ago.

I think that we don’t have a lot of things in common. Recently we started to have more things in common, like music or series. Maybe we share our sense of humor and because that we did us friends. Actually, we listen a comedy podcast, so we have the same type of humor.

Today, we see us like every weekend because he lives very near from me and we have almost the same group of friends. Sometimes we go to the home together after the university.

Hello classmates, today I’m going to talk about a memorable celebration. I don’t remember very well the year, I think that it was in 2009, but it was when the Chilean soccer team got through to the World cup. I remember very well that day, because I was a child and at that moment I was a football fan, especially of the national team.  We had to win to Colombia, in Colombia, for through to the World cup. It was going to be a memorable celebration if we won because Chile at that moment didn’t have many experiences in through to the World cup. We saw the match in my house. In my house arrived a lot of people to see the match. Some uncles arrived and some sister’s friend arrived, so we were too many to be in the room where we had the television. That match we won 4 – 2. When we did the 4 – 2, everybody in the room started to jump and scream and an uncle had promised to drink beer through the nose if Chile won, so at that moment he started to drink beer whit the nose, was a memorable show. All the people in that room were euphoric. Once the match finished, we saw that one sofa was broken and there was a lot of beer in the floor. It was a disaster.

Hello classmates. Today I’m going to talk about a place that I would like to visit. I would like to visit Denmark because I think this country is very beautiful. This country has landscapes awesome. But I would like to travel to this country not only for the landscapes, but because the life there is very different. Denmark is one of the countries with the best life quality, so I think it would be interesting to know more about this country, know about how they live there, about how is it. I don’t know if I would like work or live there. I believe that work there could be great, because they don’t work many hours, not like here and all the people there can have a comfortable life, I’m not saying that all the people are rich, but I think that minimum standards there are much higher than here.
Although that, I would not like to live in Denmark, because maybe it could be boring, so I prefer live in Australia for the same that I said about Denmark.
